Leeds Bradford Airport is just a short journey from the city centre and welcomes visitors from 70 different destinations. The port of Hull is just over an hour away by car and Leeds benefits from direct train links from across the country. Within the local area TransPennine provide local train travel options. Leeds is served by some very good motorway links, including the M1 which connects it to London, M62, and the M1-A1 link road; a strategic link between the M62 and M1. Once in Leeds, travelling around the city is very easy due to its robust bus network linking the city centre with the surrounding area. First Leeds operate in the city centre and Arriva operate buses to the surrounding area.
