Sales and Marketing Assistant
Parallel Project Training is a specialist provider of project management training. We are committed to delivering high-quality training to our corporate, empowering our clients with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in project management. We run courses for both the public and corporate clients, offering innovative and practical learning experiences.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Marketing Executive to support our sales and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Business Development Director, the ideal candidate will play a key role in driving customer engagements and supporting business growth. Working entirely home-based, with very occasional travel, the position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the continued success of Parallel Project Training.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing support
- Responsible for the marketing strategy – for planning, delivering and monitoring marketing campaigns across all channels.
- Create and update marketing material, such as social media posts, blog posts and promotional material.
- Provide input into and support for ongoing web and SEO activities.
- Conduct market research to identify ongoing trends and opportunities.
Sales support
- Respond promptly to incoming sales enquiries and follow up with prospective customers.
- Oversee the full schedule of public courses, ensuring ongoing sales and supporting successful delivery.
- Manage our re-seller programme, working with other training providers to increase collaboration, grow sales, and maintain successful relationships.
- Assist in preparing quotes, proposals and bids for potential clients, and where necessary take responsibility for owning customer accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service and drive improvements to customer services.
Essential Requirements
- Prior experience in a marketing role, or a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Pro-active and self-motivated.
Desirable Requirements
- Familiarity with the training industry, and in particular project management training.
- Familiarity with marketing and social media tools, such as LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ideally located in the Southwest of England, but not essential.
This is a new role and as such opens to an extent of adaptation and focus depending on changing circumstances.
Salary Range:
£25000 – £30000
Location(s) :
Remote Working, with an expectation of occasional travel.
