Description
This workshop is for individuals who have failed the 3-hour, ten-essay written exam based on the 7th edition of the Body of Knowledge offered between March 2020 and August 2024 and are interested in resitting the new format of the APM PMQ.
The new version of the exam will include
- Multiple choice questions,
- Select from the list of questions with multiple correct answers,
- Short answer responses,
- Long answer responses.
The course will cover the new syllabus, which is now aligned with the APM Competence Framework and includes some new sections:
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion,
- Sustainability,
- Ethics, Compliance and Professionalism,
- Transition Management.
Additionally, the topics covered by the BoK7 syllabus will be refreshed with some minor changes in emphasis.
The workshop will provide a refreshed Parallel Study Guide, access to new e-learning materials, comprehensive back-of-practice questions, virtual training, and a mock exam.
Topics Covered
- The format of the new exam including the types of questions.
- New topic areas include Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Sustainability, Ethics, Compliance and Professionalism, and Transition Management.
- A review of the revised syllabus, covering the minor changes made in some areas.
- Practice questions and a mock exam.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, you will gain the following skills:
1. Ability to take the APM PMQ exam confidently, including understanding the new format of questions within the exam.
2. Capability to answer questions related to new topics within the revised syllabus, such as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Sustainability, Ethics, Compliance and Professionalism, Transition Management.
3. Confidence in answering questions associated with the minor changes made to the syllabus.

A Parallel study guide is included along with e-learning, 3 days of tutor-led online virtual training, a comprehensive set of practice questions, and a mock exam marked by your tutor.
Prerequisites
This course is intended for individuals who have previously completed APM PMQ training based on the 7th Edition of the Body of Knowledge. It is not necessary to have taken this training with Parallel.
