Statement From The APM On Update To The APM Qualifications

Dear Parallel Project Management Ltd

Following the launch of the APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition and its supporting website on the 8th August 2012, this is to let you and your colleagues at Parallel Project Management Ltd that we are now in a position to outline the next phase of the APM Body of Knowledge refresh programme, specifically related to current APM qualifications.

A review of APM qualifications will begin in September 2012 with no changes anticipated before September 2013. Any changes made to the qualifications structure or content will be announced no less than six months prior to their implementation. All potential candidates and Accredited Providers will be consulted on any changes accordingly.

In the meantime, existing APM qualifications will continue to use the APM Body of Knowledge 5th edition as its primary reference source. This will remain available via APM publishing until the qualifications have been fully refreshed.

If you or any of your colleagues at Parallel Project Management Ltd have any queries relating to APM qualifications, please contact psandk@apm.org.uk.
